This month the Connecticut Passive House Community welcomes guests Brian Bloom and Becca Castellano from The Passive House Network to answer your burning questions about Passive House training.

Their next PHI-Certified Passive House Designer course is the Atlantic Spring 2026 Cohort beginning on April 9.

Did you know Passive House training can be eligible for a 75% reimbursement through Energize Connecticut’s Passive House and All-Electric Homes Initiative? The Initiative is set to expire at the end of June.

Did you also know The Passive House Network is holding its Annual Conference right here in New Haven at Hotel Marcel on June 5–6? Presentation proposal submissions will be accepted through February 13.

Education Manager

Becca has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Business from Skidmore College. Upon graduating, she joined the Peace Corps in North Macedonia, working as an education volunteer. There she created a student-centered English language curriculum and library system. When she returned to the U.S., she continued her work with the Peace Corps remotely, collaborating with North Macedonian teachers on remote teaching methods.
