CEUs: AIA pending, self-report
As energy codes become increasingly stringent, homebuilders are rethinking how to insulate homes effectively and efficiently. This session explores how continuous exterior insulation (CI) can help meet evolving energy standards while improving overall building performance. Learn how CI improves Total Effective R-values by reducing thermal bridging, while also enhancing wall system performance through better moisture management, air sealing and durability. The presentation will cover practical methods for integrating CI into wood-framed wall assemblies, including field-proven installation techniques and cladding attachment strategies.
