Tell us about your work.

As Principal Sustainability Consultant for Steven Winter Associates, I guide green program certifications like LEED, Fitwel, and Living Future projects aiming to help shape a greener, more resilient built environment for private and public sector clients across Connecticut.

What’s your role in sustainability?

I’m striving to help build a more vibrant, connected green building community in Connecticut. I recognize the value of local chapters, like BuildGreenCT. and the power of collaboration and want to play an active role in organizing community events, engaging LEED professionals, and fostering knowledge-sharing among members.

What’s your Why?

Being part of BuildGreenCT has allowed me to connect with other sustainability leaders, collaborate on impactful projects, and stay at the forefront of green building practices.

Through my involvement, I have helped shape community programming, contributed to professional development opportunities, and supported the growth of sustainable design initiatives in the region. This engagement has not only expanded my professional network but also deepened my expertise and influence in the field of sustainable building.

Tell us about a project you are proud of.

I’m especially proud of my involvement in a new affordable housing development in Hebron, Connecticut that’s pursuing Living Future certification.

This project represents the intersection of sustainability and social impact—creating healthy, energy-efficient homes while demonstrating that truly sustainable design can and should be accessible to everyone.
